A New Beginning
The digital currency known as Snatcoin was released February 7th 2018 on GitHub for all cryptocurrency beginners and enthusiasts alike. The coin was ported from Litecoin to give known and trusted security to the network.
The genesis block of Snatcoin was mined with the message “Snatcoin: A new beginning”. The Scrypt algorithm used with this coin is the same used with both Litecoin and Dogecoin among others.
To use Snatcoin all you have to do is download the Snatcoin wallet from https:/snatcoin.org or clone the GitHub repository at https://github.com/snatcoinOfficial/snatcoin
There will be a maximum of 80 Billion SNAT in total with an estimated block time of 1 minute. The block reward to miners on the Snatcoin network will get cut in half at every 44,000 blocks. The block reward will continue to be cut down until it is at the final block reward of 1000 SNAT. This final block reward will continue until all 80 Billion are mined.
